Wendy's
Our vision at Wendy’s is to become the world’s most thriving and beloved restaurant brand.
About Wendy's
Wendy’s® was founded in 1969 by Dave Thomas in Columbus, Ohio. Dave built his business on the premise, “Quality is our Recipe®,” which remains the guidepost of the Wendy’s system. Wendy’s is best known for its made-to-order square hamburgers, using fresh, never frozen beef, freshly-prepared salads and other signature items like chili, baked potatoes and the Frosty® dessert. Briad currently operates 108 Wendy’s restaurants throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York City. Our vision at Wendy’s is to become the world’s most thriving and beloved restaurant brand.
Briad’s Wendy’s division is full of passionate, hard-working team members and management. All of Briad’s Wendy’s® are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to better serve customers, and Briad is actively committed to staff development and employee growth.

Achievements
Community Involvement
Wendy’s® founder Dave Thomas believed in the importance of “Giving Something Back,” and The Briad Group® proudly upholds that legacy. Each Briad-operated Wendy’s restaurant actively supports its local community through a variety of initiatives—from sponsoring youth sports teams and providing meals for school events to hosting proceeds nights that benefit local organizations.
In 2019 alone, The Briad Group contributed nearly $100,000 through local fundraising efforts, reflecting a deep commitment to community engagement and service.
Briad also proudly supports the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children in foster care find permanent, loving homes. Through annual fundraising efforts, including in-restaurant campaigns, Frosty Key Tag and Halloween Book sales, and donation drives, The Briad Group contributes more than $500,000 each year to help advance the Foundation’s mission.
During the holiday season, Briad teams also partner with local foster care agencies to fulfill children’s wish lists—ensuring every child experiences the joy and warmth of the season. This initiative has since inspired other Wendy’s franchisees to join in, extending the impact across even more communities.
